AMERICANLIFE TV NETWORK NAMED 2008 CABLEFAXIES AWARDS FINALIST FOR IT\'S “I AM A BABY OF A BABY BOOMER” AD CAMPAIGN
Campaign Was Created by Ad Guru George Lois and Features Famous Baby Boomers and Their Children

Winners to be Announced May 6th at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

Washington, D.C. (April 28, 2008) -- AmericanLife TV Network SM (www.americanlifetv.com), the cable network devoted to the Baby Boomer generation, was named by CableFAX as a CableFAXIES Awards finalist. The CableFAXIES Awards are presented by CableFAX Daily and CableFAX Magazine to salute the years most outstanding communications initiatives and programs in the highly competitive and dynamic Cable arena. The coveted awards set the industry benchmark for excellence across all areas of PR and Marketing.

AmericanLife TV Network (ALN) was selected for its "Im a Baby of a Baby Boomer campaign, a series of commercials that feature famous baby-boomers and their kids. The network is nominated in the Advertising Campaign for a Cable Network category and the winner will be announced on May 6 at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

Created by legendary adman George Lois, the sons and daughters of famous American Baby Boomers pay tribute to their celebrity parents and the incredible Woodstock Generation. George Lois, whose reputation as a media guru precedes him with his breakthrough ad campaigns for the now iconic media brands MTV, Esquire Magazine, USA Today and ESPN.

The children of Academy Award winning actress Susan Sarandon, superstar football Hall of Famer Joe Namath, Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter, Pop artist pioneer James Rosenquist, hockey legend Bobby Nystrom, pioneer African-American morning news anchor Ren Syler, and musical theater stage sensation Patti LuPone lovingly and playfully banter with their Baby Boomer parents as they re-experience the essence of that revolutionary generation.
