DARLENE CHAPMAN-HOLMES PROMOTED TO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING
WASHINGTON AmericanLife TV NetworkSM (www.americanlifetv.com), the cable network devoted to the Baby Boomer generation, has promoted Darlene Chapman-Holmes to Senior Vice President of Marketing. In this role, Chapman-Holmes manages both consumer and affiliate marketing, works closely with Affiliate Sales on negotiations and promotion of the network, and oversees marketing, public relations and research. Chapman-Holmes is currently spearheading the networks advertising and re-branding efforts which will debut this Fall.

Darlenes a true star in the business of marketing, said AmericanLife TVs President and COO Lawrence Meli. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team that we have found invaluable. As we embark on the re-branding efforts for our Network, we are pleased to have her using her talents to drive this initiative.

Before joining AmericanLife TV Network, Chapman-Holmes ran the Marketing Department in Affiliate Sales at Black Entertainment Television, where she oversaw all Affiliate Marketing and Public Affairs initiatives. Prior, Chapman-Holmes held various marketing positions at cable networks including Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, Nickelodeon and MTV Networks.

Chapman-Holmes has been involved in several organizations, including The Executive Leadership Council, Emma Bowen Foundation, NAACP Act-So program, New Jersey Sexual Assault Resource and Counseling Center and various youth and womens ministries at her church. She was recently named chairwoman of Class XVII of the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute, an educational program through Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT). Chapman-Holmes is a BMLI alumna of Class XV.
