Americanlife TV NetworkSM To Premiere ‘Profiles In Caring’
WASHINGTON, DC AmericanLife TV Network SM (www.americanlifetv.com), the only independent network devoted to Americas Baby Boomer generation, will launch its fall season with the premiere of Profiles in Caring, a 45-episode, reality-based series focusing on humanitarian work from around the globe. Produced by Salt Lake City-based non-profit DreamWeaver Medical Foundation, the series will run Tuesdays at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. ET starting September 5, 2006.

Profiles in Caring focuses on real volunteers and their contributions throughout the world from Afghanistan, Romania and Tibet to Arizona. The series, produced and hosted by veteran journalist Kimberly Perkins, chronicles extraordinary humanitarian projects with a personal, behind-the-scenes emphasis.

Profiles in Caring is the perfect compliment to our other 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekday shows Volunteers: For the Sake of Others and American Family as all three shows focus on real people striving to make a difference, whether in their immediate families, their communities, or the entire world, said Larry Meli, president and COO of AmericanLife TV. Extensive market research has shown that boomers, who have always had a penchant for challenging the status quo, will continue to do so in their later years. Our daytime lineup reflects this facet of boomers lives, along with their passion for health, wellness and a return to simpler times.
