AmericanLife TV Network Launches in Hawaii Oceanic Time Warner Cable to Carry Family-Friendly Network
Washington, D.C. AmericanLife TV Network, the nations only full-time cable channel dedicated to providing lifestyle, entertainment, and information programming for the baby boomer generation, is now available on Oceanic Time Warner Cable . . .
Washington, D.C. – AmericanLife TV Network, the nation’s only full-time cable channel dedicated to providing lifestyle, entertainment, and information programming for the baby boomer generation, is now available on Oceanic Time Warner Cable to customers in Hawaii in the following markets: Honolulu, Hilo, Kona, Lahaina, Kahului and Kauai.

Oceanic Time Warner launched the network on their Digital Cable Service making AmericanLife TV Network available to its digital subscribers on Channel 604.

“AmericanLife TV Network is a comfortable place for a family viewing experience,” said Lawrence Meli, President & COO of AmericanLife TV Network. “We offer classics such as ‘The Color Honeymooners’ and ‘China Beach’ that the entire family can enjoy together. We are thrilled to offer viewers throughout Hawaii a safe haven of G-rated, family-friendly programming.”

On March 1, the former GoodLife TV network announced a new name, logo and on-air look to continue with the momentum the network has gained in 2004, which included a series of successful programming acquisitions and multi-system launches.

AmericanLife TV Network’s nightly prime time entertainment blocks features classic television programming including: “Courtship of Eddies Father,” “Chico and the Man,” “Kung Fu,” “Man from UNCLE,” “My Favorite Martian” and “Welcome Back Kotter.”

Lifestyle programming featured on AmericanLife TV Network includes: “Flea Market Mania,” “Alive and Well” and “Graham Kerr’s Kitchen.”

In addition to lifestyle and nightly entertainment nostalgia, American TV Network features information and lifestyle original productions, including:
  • “Fixing Dinner” – (daily, 2:00 PM ET) Hosted by leading meal planning expert Sandi Richard who each episode helps a family develop new approaches to meal preparation that saves times, money and a lot of tension – and most importantly, gets the whole family to the dinner table.
  • “Flea Market Mania” – (daily, 11:30 AM ET) Daily show with collectibles expert Christopher Kent that takes viewers on visits to America’s most interesting antique shows and flea markets where Kent examines antiques, offers appraisals, and occasionally sniffs out an over priced fake.
  • “Embassy Chefs” – (Thursday, 2:00 PM ET; Tuesday, 6:30 PM ET) The network brings its cameras to the kitchens of Washington’s embassies so you can dine like a diplomat.
  • “The American Family” – (Wednesday, 10:00 AM ET; Monday 3:00 PM ET) ABC News veteran Bettina Gregory brings inspirational stories and real-life solutions to family problems in this new series.
