GoodLife TV Network Announces Summer Slate of Special Programming
Americas Summer Celebration Kicks Off with Memorial Day Tribute
GoodLife TV Network announced six program marathons and specials designed to celebrate the spirit of America, mark the summer holidays and important anniversaries in history.

“America’s Summer Celebration” kicks off on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31, with The Gallant Men marathon. All eight original episodes of the World War II drama set in Italy will air from 6:00 p.m. through 2:00 a.m. EDT. The marathon, paying tribute to America’s war heroes, will be hosted by Nick Clooney from aboard the USS Intrepid.

GoodLife will celebrate the 60th Anniversary of D Day on Sunday, June 6, with an airing of 19 straight hours of Combat! starting at 7:00 a.m. EDT, coinciding with the hour the Allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy. Combat! depicts the exploits of a U.S. Army platoon fighting its way across Europe during WWII following D-Day, with historic WWII battle footage included in some episodes.

The 35th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing on Tuesday, July 20, will be marked with a three-hour special, including the rebroadcast of the 1972 documentary Moonwalk One and interviews with today’s astronauts discussing the importance of the moon landing to them.

GoodLife TV Network also announced three additional days of special programming, including a 4th of July “Superman-a-thon,” with eight color episodes of the classic Adventures of Superman; an encore of six back-to-back episodes of the GoodLife TV original program American Family featuring ABC News veteran Bettina Gregory on Parents’ Day, Sunday, July 18; and a six-hour marathon on Labor Day, Monday, September 5, celebrating America’s two most famous working stiffs, Ralph and Ed, on the Color Honeymooners.
